Meteorite 04:12
Meteorite I first saw her in her car when she went flying by Pedal to the metal with a sparkle in her eye I watched her as she sped away and disappeared from view I wanted to go with her but there was nothing I could do Meteorite I see you burning oh so bright Meteorite Your flaming glow is lighting up the night Meteorite I watch as you come falling down Meteorite I know there will be nothing left to reach the ground Meteorite The next time that I saw her she was spinning round and round So fast it made me dizzy as I watched it all go down Her laughter was like music it touched me to my soul To see someone so wild and free and out of all control Meteorite I see you burning oh so bright Meteorite Your flaming glow is lighting up the night Meteorite I watch as you come falling down Meteorite I know there will be nothing left to reach the ground Meteorite © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI

It's Alright 05:22
It's Alright It seems like everybody is afraid of the dark Afraid of the shadows and black dogs that bark Afraid of the others and afraid of themselves Afraid of rumbling thunder and just about everything else But it’s alright Everything’s gonna be alright Once I had a lover she couldn’t sleep at night Afraid of having nightmares she kept on all the lights She said she would quit dreaming, throw the good out with the bad But Baby sometimes dreaming is all that we have But it’s alright Everything’s gonna be alright Hush now little children nothing hides under your bed No monsters in the closet - it’s all inside your head Your Mommy and your Daddy are just messing with your mind They tell you scary stories just to keep you in line But it’s alright Everything’s gonna be alright © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI

Oh Well 03:19
Oh Well I handled the serpent because I believed he wouldn’t strike And then he bit me And afterwards he bit I believed I would not die And then it hit me After I died I believed I would not go to hell Oh well I drank poison from a cup because I believed it would taste like wine It burned like fire The preacher said he’d heal me so I believed I would be fine He was a liar While in the poison’s spell I believed I would not go to hell Oh well I said I don’t belong, Satan, set me free And then he leaned in close to me He said trust me, man, and I will treat you well I trusted but I’m still in hell Oh well I held scorpions in my hand because I believed I’d not be harmed They started stinging I felt venom in my veins but I believed that I was charmed Heard angels singing And as the darkness fell I believed I would not go to hell Oh well © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI

Lost in the Search Once, I knew a woman so fair and so young she was held by her vision of a pure and true love She was easily knocked over By man men who held her under their spells by pretending to be the one she dreamt of She was lost in the search for true love lost in the search for true love I once had a good friend who craved for affection He constantly prayed to find a pure and true love But, the few times he thought he found it he was so scared he'd lose it that his fear chased him from it Now he stays on the run He was lost in the search for true love lost in the search for true love © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI

Dead End Street I watched cars go in and not come back the signs were fake it was a trap and now they're lost with no escape they can't turn around so they're driving straight down a one-way dead end street Cars full of people so polite no honking horns no flashing lights follow the leader one by one nobody really knows that they're going down a one-way dead end street it's just a one-way dead end street © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI

Meet the Cheaters Sneaking glances Taking chances The cards are marked The marks are labeled Playing hands Under the table They can look you in the eye And not give a thing away They don't have to lie They know what not to say Poker faces No hints no traces The deal gets quietly passed around Another mark is going down They can look you in the eye And not give a thing away They don't have to lie They know what not to say Meet the cheaters They always beat us Blind believers Believe deceivers Meet the cheaters © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI

Family Tree 03:50
Family Tree Mama, Mama, can you tell me now What did Daddy do when he got behind the plow And the earth was hard as stone and the mule just wouldn’t get going Mama, tell me how did Daddy till his ground Between a hard place and a rock I’m so stuck that I cannot turn around Sister, Sister tell me if you please What it is you pray when you get down on your knees When you bow your head down and I hear that whispered sound Sister, tell me what you pray at night I’m low and I’m lonely and I only need to make things right Mama, mama how did I become the black sheep Was it being born at midnight Or being born in the breech Mama, mama what is wrong with me I’m the only branch The lonely branch On the wrong side of the family tree. Grandma, Grandma, talk to me, dear Bend down low from heaven and whisper in my ear You can sing me lullabies and help me close my weary eyes Grandma, you can soothe me with your simple songs All this fussing and a-fighting got me frightened and I need to be strong © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI

Merry Xmas to Me I’m sitting by the tree, broken glass at my feet from the ornaments that fell Oh, the stories they could tell if they could speak Merry xmas to me The presents sit unwrapped, they look like relics from the past The winter’s winds frosted the glass I hear cars go by so fast out on the street Merry xmas to me Merry xmas, merry xmas the carolers are singing down the street Merry xmas, merry xmas I quietly sing in harmony Merry xmas to me I tried to call you on the phone The message said you’re not at home I can’t say what’s on my mind so I disconnect the line and then I speak Merry xmas to me © WD Picou, Half-Nutt Music, BMI
